Ice Spinners is an All-Play Minigame in Wii Party U.
Gameplay[]
The player(s) must spin as many times as possible to get points. Whomever gets the most points wins. If they don’t spin in enough time, their Mii will fall. Depending on where the Mii faces after the spin, they will get a different amount of points (front-facing = 20, side = 10, backwards = 1, dizzy = 0).
Amazing Feat[]
All four players must get the same score (more than 20 points). The Amazing Feat is called Rulers of the Rink.
Controls[]
- Hold the Wii Remote vertically and twirl it to spin.
- Press A to stop spinning.
Record for 1st[]
The first default record for this Minigame is 42 points, set by Barbara, a Master Mii (known as Elena).

Trivia[]
- In the crowd, some Miis will appear in multiples.
- Not spinning the Wii Remote will make your Mii stay stuck in the starting pose until you start spinning it. Only when time runs out after a good lack of spinning will your Mii do something other than that, that being sulk at the fact that they didn't pose.
- The females have different starting poses compared to the males. The females hold their arm straight out while the males put their arm out in a certain angle.
- Most of the Miis from the crowd will jump if the player(s) manage(s) to pose when facing forward. This will still happen if they face towards the crowd or the sides, but less will jump.
- If your Mii is standing still, they will not pose when you press A. You have to be spinning.
- You also cannot press A prematurely because it does nothing. You have to press A when the bar is at the point where it's only red.
- If you time the press of the A Button right when you're about to pose sideways, looking directly at another player, and that other player does the same & ends up looking at you, both you and the other player will an interaction. Both of you will simply close eyes and sigh.
- Players 2 & 3 can do it with both left & right, while Players 1 & 4 are limited to one side only. Player 1 can only do it if they're looking to the right, and Player 4 can only do it if they're looking to the left.
- The finishing poses change in every game.
- It's possible for a Master Mii to not strike a pose or fall down to the ground.
- It's possible for the Miis to become dizzy, in a similar way in Countdown Crisis.
